axxent introduces a new one-channel, 400 W amplifier in a 2 RU, 19” chassis.
The amplifier features a low impedance output, as well as 50/70/100 volt constant voltage outputs.
Under normal working conditions, the amplifier operates quietly with its passive convection cooling. When the maximum performance is required and its passive cooling ribs exceed a given temperature, a quiet and controlled fan aids the cooling system.
All output connectors are fully touch proof isolated to comply with European Safety Standard EN60065. The only front control is the gain potentiometer. The knob of this potentiometer may be removed and sealed against operating error. Power switch is on the rear of the amplifier as well as an IEC connector for AC power.
Warranty on the AX-1400T Power Amplifier is six years. The amplifier has been designed in Germany and is being manufactured in the EU.

It took the Dutch to invent a car-fuelling robot inspired by the milking of cows. "I was on a farm and I saw a robotic arm milking a cow. If a robot can do that then why can't it fill a car tank, I thought," says developer and petrol station operator Nico van Staveren.
A robotic arm fitted with multiple sensors extends from a regular petrol pump, carefully opens the car's flap, unscrews the cap, picks up the fuel nozzle and directs it towards the tank opening. The 75,000 euro robot is the first of its kind, working by recognizing the car on arrival at the filling station and using a database of fuel cap designs and fuel types.
It works for cars whose tank can be opened without a key, and whose contours and dimensions have been recorded to avoid scratching.

There will be a stand at CeBIT where they will place EEG electrodes on your head to measure your brain activity. Then they will capture 3 minutes of your EEG data to train a system to control all the functions of a house via…yes, you got it!..your own brain waves.
The brain wave system allows you to switch on the TV, play music, open the doors and windows, operate a camera at the door, walk through the house, and many other activities.
More importantly, this device may prove (although this research is not the intention of the maker) that we still have brain waves after being in this business for years.
On Show for the First Time in Europe at ISE, the latest version of the proprietary Kaleidescape Entertainment Appliance Operating System (KEAOS 3.5) offers new features include the ability to automatically synchronize music from a Kaleidescape System to iTunes on a PC, an iPod or other digital music player.
KEA OS 3.5 comes with an innovative classical music interface that lets users easily personalize their classical music listening experience; greater data safety in the event of disk drive failure; and new options for sharing personalised movie scripts and favourite scenes with other Kaleidescape users.

The launch of BenQ MP771 marks the debut of BenQ’s upcoming projector series that features a short-throw lens for big-screen viewing without space constraints.
The BenQ MP771 is a high-brightness XGA projector, features a short-throw lens, a high 3,000 ANSI lumens, BrilliantColor Technology, UNISHAPE, 3D Color Management and Wall Color Correction Technology.
The BenQ MP771 makes big-screen viewing possible in smaller spaces, such as departmental meeting rooms, classrooms, or living rooms. (or for example, in our office where it projects a 74-inch picture from just a meter away.)
The short-throw ratio also makes it more practical and safe for presenters to stand between the projector and audience, avoiding the annoyance and health risks of the bright projector lamps shining into one’s eyes.
The BrilliantColorTM technology brings a 50% increase in brightness of mid-tone color, resulting in highly saturated images. Featuring UNISHAPE lamp lighting technology, the MP771 is able to vary the intensity of the projector lamp in synchronization with its Digital Micro mirror Device (DMD) and color wheel, allowing an increase of 40% in brightness (and, says maker, boosting specific colors in different application modes.)
The 3D Color Management, allows users to fine-tune the six colors (R/G/B/C/M/Y) independently for hue, saturation and gain to suit personal preferences or meet the requirements of specific applications. Furthermore, the Wall Color Correction Technology allows users to use walls—even non-white ones—as a projection screen.
The BenQ MP771 offers a Splash Screen Lock function, a 12V trigger, Quick Auto Search function, Power On/Off Ringtones, On-screen FAQ and a Presentation Timer.. Other thoughtful features include a detachable key pad, Off-and-Go function and top access lamp door for easy lamp replacement and maintenance.
