CES 2015 hosts the launch of what Sony claims is the thinnest 4K TV in the world-- the Bravia X90C, a set featuring a "Floating Style" all of 5mm thick, thinner than the company's own Xperia Z smartphones.
As well as being thin, the X90C features a near bezel-free screen and screw-free heat bonded construction. It also includes a wall mount allowing customers to hang it flush against a wall, much like "a work of art" (as Sony puts it).
The X90C is not the only Sony TV seen at CES 2015, as it is just one of 12 4K/UHD Bravia sets launched at the show. All all are powered by the X1 processor for "greater clarity, brilliant colour and high contrast" together with Android TV, Google's latest take on TV operating systems. Customers can control the TVs using an included touchpad remote, while Google Cast capability allows the easy pushing of content from mobile devices to PCs via wifi.
