BenQ launches the W770ST-- a short-throw entry level home entertainment projector with a native 1280x720 DLP chip projecting 62-inch images from a 40-inch distance away from the screen.

An integrated 10W speaker makes it a "take it out of the closet and show it" projector.

It projects 2500 ANSI lumens with 13000:1 contrast ratio. According to BenQ integrated Rec.709 colour gamut provides projected colour images matching film studio and TV broadcast standards straight out of the box.

SmartEco technology automatically adjusts lamp power, with power savings reaching up to 70% and less frequent lamp replacements.

The W770ST also supports full 3D timing (including Blu-ray 3D 144Hz content), provides HDMI connectivity and ships with a pair of 3D glasses.
