Paradigm adds 3 subwoofer to the Monitor Series 7 line-- the Monitor Sub 8, Sub 10 and Sub 12, featuring a streamlined form factor and technology from both Paradigm Signature and Studio subwoofers.
The 3 subs carry the same single-driver design, with internal ultra-class D amplifiers delivering 900W dynamic peak/300W RMS substained power, with low frequency extention of either 19 Hz (Sub 8), 17 Hz (Sub 10) or 16 hz (Sub 12).
The Sub 8 and Sub 10 feature a mineral-filled polypropylene cone with a corrugated Santoprene surround, a 1.5" 4-layer copper-clad aluminium voice coil, Nomex spider, 2kg ferrite magnet and AVS die-cast heat sink chassis.
The Sub 12 boosts the specifications further, with a 2" 4-layer voice coil, 3kg ferrite magnet, dual Nomex spiders and AVS die-cast heat sink chassis.
Each sub also carries integrated USB port for PBK (Paradigm Perfect Bass Kit) equalisation and is wireless-ready via the optional Paradigm PT-2 transmitter, allowing the daisy-chaining of up to x4 Monitor subwoofers.
