Bowers & Wilkins announces the 6th version of the 600 series speakers-- the next generation features 4 speakers and matching subwoofers offering higher-end technology from the flagship 800 series Diamond range.
Technologies found in the 600 series include Continuum Cone midrange drivers, developed to improve on the transparency and accuracy of the Kevlar cone, and an updated version of the Decoupled Double Dome Tweeter paired with paper cone low-frequency drivers promising "rich, powerful" bass response.
The 600 series consists of the 607 and 606 standmounters, the 603 3-way floorstander and the HTM6 centre speaker. The 603 boasts an FST midrange driver using the Continuum cone, plus dual paper cone bass drivers. Meanwhile the HTM6 features dual 130mm bass drivers. On the subwoofer side the 600 series offers 3 subwoofers, the ASW608, ASW610 and ASW610XP, in 8-and 10-inch 200/500W configurations.
The speakers also promise improvements on the aesthetic side, with magnetic speaker grilles and ports moved from the front to the rear. As a result, the 607 bookshelf speaker is smaller than the previous 686 model.

The speaker range ships in a choice of matte black and satin white colours.
