James Loudspeaker unveils two smaller versions of the W-Series wedge form factor boundary speakers-- the unobtrusive 42Qw and 43Qw, both built out of aircraft-grade aluminium for strength and sonic performance.
Designed for integration where walls and ceilings converge, the two speakers are ideal for multi-zone audio audio, height channels for theatre systems (Atmos, Auro3D and DTS:X) and outdoor audio applications. Inside is a new version of the 4-inch woofer originally used in the 42AT landscape loudspeaker, designed using a Santoprene surround and aluminium cone.
The 42Q2 combines a single 4-inch woofer with the James Loudspeaker aluminium Quad Tweeter array, providing what the company says is superior dispersion and dynamic capabilities versus conventional speakers. The 43Qw uses two 4-inch drivers with the Quad Tweeter for additional output capability. Both models include a wall/ceiling bracket with a unique mounting system promising to be both secure but easy to install and achieve a gapless fit.
The 42Qw and 43Qw are available now in both standard and custom colours.
