Savant introduces Savant Pro Audio 4-- the first scalable, wired, all-in-one music solution from the company aimed exclusively at Savant Pro integrators.

Savant Pro Audio 4 features built-in streaming, distribution and amplification for complete audio immersion, with a 50W amplifier, integrated audio processing and 4 zones of high-quality audio able to sync automatically between rooms. The result allows users to play 8 channels of immersive fidelity straight from the Savant Pro app or Pro remote.

Also included is a single stream of Savant Music and support for additional streaming through the Savant Smart Host to personalise music in individual rooms.

Customers can interconnect up to 3 Pro Audio 4 units, expanding the number of zones from 4 to 12 for a synchronised whole-home audio experience. Multiple installation options make it ideal for both new constructions and retrofits.

Meanwhile newly announced Savant Pro 8.1 software updates allow users to create and schedule personalised scenes with Sonos-- a unique feature giving homeowners the ability to create scenes such as "Relax" (turns on a favourite Sonos playlist and dims the lights with a tap). Further 8.1 features include whole-home music distribution from the Savant Pro Remote for control of music throughout the house from a single interface, as well as quicker access to volume controls and zone filtering.

Savant Pro 8.1 is scheduled for an October 2016 release, while Pro Audio 4 should be shipped later during the year.
