Mission launches the LX series-- an entry-level loudspeaker range the company claims delivers high-end performance at an affordable price point.

The first two products in the series are the standmount LX-2 and the floorstanding LX-3, both featuring 2-way designs with a 25mm dome tweeter and 130mm mid/bass drive units (one in the LX-2, two in the LX-3). The drivers have a cone made using an "advanced fibre formulation" Mission claims improves stiffness and self-damping qualities.

The LX-2 tweeter is positioned below the mid/bass drive unit to improve time alignment, while the LX-3 tweeter is between the twin mid/bass drivers in a D'Appolito configuration.

The LX-2 and LX-3 ship from Q2 2016 in blak, with further finish options to follow. Mission says Q3 2016 will see other LX series launches-- the bookshelf LX-1 and two larger floorstanders, the LX-4 and LX-5.
