K-array meets plans to launch 17 products in 2015 with 3 audio additions-- the KU26 compact subwoofer, KU44 line array bass element and the KA14 power amplifier.

The KU26 is a compact subwoofer designed as a companion to the K-array Lyzard, Vyper and Tornado loudspeakers. It carries a 6-inch neodymium transduser featuring a double voice coil (16 ohms + 16 ohms) for selectable impedance settings, and a 6-inch passive radiator engineered for maximum linear excursion and minimum residual noise.

Operation clocks at 45-300Hz, making it ideal to extend the low range in small to medium size rooms. Customers can power up to 8 KU26 units with a single KA84 amplifier channel.

Meanwhile the KU44 arrayable bass element complements mid-high models with proprietary Slim Array technology providing full-range frequency response (50-150Hz) from a very low profile. It incorporates dual 4-inch neodymium transducers and dual 4-inch passive radiators operating at2 different impedance values (8 or 32 ohms). At 32 ohms one can power up to 8 KU44 units off a single KA amplifier channel.

Construction is in steel, making it ideal for outside deployments, and K-array offers a number of mounting options for permanent and portable installation.

The final K-array product is the KA14-- an amplifier complete with mixer and processing intended for small applications. It offers 4 independent and configurable output channels (4 x 300W at 4 ohms) and has an integrated DSP including EQ, matrix levels, delays and limiter, with DSP functions remote controlled via K-framework software over USB.

A preset library supplies configurations for numerous Lyzard, Vyper, Tornado and Rumble loudspeaker combinations, and a front panel touchscreen provides access to basic functions for quick setup and corrections.

Inputs include XLR and RCA connectors, while the 2RU package comes inside a lightweight aluminium chassis. The package also includes a removable rack adapter kit and 4 rubber pads for flat surfaces.
