Klipsch announces the Reference R4B-- a soundbar and companion wireless subwoofer package the company describes as an easy home theatre upgrade option.

Klipsch soundbarFeaturing technology from the Klipsch Reference series, the R-4B soundbar carries a pair of 3/4-inch horn loaded textile dome tweeters (with 90° x 90° Tractrix horns) together with two 2.5-inch woofers. A DSP-controlled crossover handles the tweeter and woofer through separate amplifier channels.

Meanwhile the subwoofer features a 6.5-inch down-firing driver within an MDF cabinet with a slot-port design.

Connectivity includes digital optical cable, and customers can also pair the soundbar with most mobile devices and PCs via Bluetooth. Audio adjustment comes through 3 listening modes-- virtual surround, night EQ and voice enhancement EQ, with a Dolby Digital decoder ensuring detailed, high-quality sound.

Customers can either simply place the soundbar in front of the TV or remove the feet and mount it to walls via included keyhole mounts.
