Wisdom Audio announces the Sage Cinema series at CEDIA Expo 2015-- a speaker lineup designed for hidden installations behind projection screens and fabric walls.
"Adding the new Sage Cinema Series to the mix brings the advantages of the Sage Series to completely hidden applications in high-performance theaters and media rooms," the company says. "Its Modular Line Source concept makes it a true custom solution for any size room, while our Variable Directivity Point Sources will allow our dealers to deliver unparalleled clarity and intelligibility for every seat, and true compatibility with 3D audio formats.”
The Sage Cinema series consists of 5 models-- x3 Line Sources and x2 Point Sources. The modular biamplified Line Sources allow the creation of 4-, 6- and even 8-inch tall line sources to address theatre design needs. Each module carries a Sage 24-inch Planar Magnetic Driver and x3 long linear excursion high output woofers.
Meanwhile the Point Sources include a passive networking allowing each speaker to be either driven by a single amplification channel or biamplified. Installers can rotate the Point 2 PMD module by 90 degrees and tilt it by 22.5 degrees, while the Point 3 PMD module can be rotated by 90 degrees.
All the above mentioned Sage Cinema models ship on January 2016.
