Harman presents a compact TV audio system at IFA 2015-- the JBL Boost TV, a soundbar the company says suits multiple TV sizes and features JBL Soundshift, a means for instant switching between TV and mobile device audio.
A Red Dot Award for product design winner, the Boost TV is all of 380mm long, with two bass ports at either end. It is covered in black fabric and carries a pair of 50mm transducers, 30W of digital amplification and onboard DSP with virtual surround and Dolby Digital decoding.
Connectivity includes digital optical (but no HDMI) and Bluetooth with JBL Connect Technology allowing the wireless linking of multiple JBL Connect-enabled speakers to play the same Bluetooth audio.
